Abstract submission
Abstract submission is open from September 1, 2007, and will be closed on December 1, 2007.
Submission guidelines
Abstracts may be submitted through the conference site only. Abstracts sent as an e-mail attachment will not be considered by the Program Committee.
In order to submit an abstract, one should fill out a pre-registration form.
A first author of an abstract may be a co-author of no more than one other abstract. A conference participant may not be a co-author of more than two abstracts.
Abstract preparation guidelines
Abstracts may be either in English or in Russian and should not exceed 2 pages of A4 size (12pt font, single-spaced, left and right margins - 25 mm, top and bottom margins - 20 mm). All diagrams and tables should be numbered and followed by captions.
At the beginning of your file, please indicate:
- the title of your abstract (14pt font; centered)
- names of the authors, e-mails and institution(s) – (12pt font; centered).
Before you upload the abstracts to the site, please convert the file to PDF format. Please make sure that the file looks exactly as you have expected – it is especially important if you use special formatting, formulas or examples from languages with unusual fonts. When you convert the abstract to PDF, please, embed all fonts to the file (click the corresponding checkbox in conversion settings dialogue).
If you include tables or illustrations, please include them in the document in black and white format at high resolution (300 dpi or 600dpi). Please note that schemes at low resolution, color or grayscale pictures can be distorted during publication. In addition, attach the tables and illustrations to your abstracts as separate files (in TIF or BMP formats). You may upload several files on the abstract submission form or you may package all your files in a ZIP archive (including your abstracts in PDF format) and upload this file to the conference site.
The total size of your application files in our electronic system is limited to 10 megabytes. If your files exceed this size, please send us a letter through the “contact us” form on our site.
